Democrats: Lies or misinformed?

All the corruption that exists in the world is on the right side of the aisle, right? Of course. Let us see how all this plays out...

WASHINGTON (AP) - Saddam Hussein's intelligence agency secretly financed a trip to Iraq for three U.S. lawmakers during the run-up to the U.S.-led invasion, federal prosecutors said Wednesday.

An indictment unsealed in Detroit accuses Muthanna Al-Hanooti, a member of a Michigan nonprofit group, of arranging for three members of Congress to travel to Iraq in October 2002 at the behest of
Saddam's regime. Prosecutors say Iraqi intelligence officials paid for the trip through an intermediary.

At the time, the Bush administration was trying to persuade Congress to authorize military action against Iraq.

The lawmakers are not named in the indictment but the dates correspond to a trip by Democratic Reps. Jim McDermott of Washington, David Bonior of Michigan and Mike Thompson of California. None was
charged and Justice Department spokesman Dean Boyd said investigators "have no information whatsoever" any of them knew the trip was underwritten by Saddam. (

Painful loss.

Good friend for a LONG time on the blogs Mike, from Mike's America, has recently lost his beloved blog assistant.

"Iraq Failures"

"Iraq is an abject failure" is what one of our best-est friends on Blogtalk radio said. However the moron did a show about this right as the following comes out. So I ask you to look in to the poll...

There are PLENTY of problems still existing, but this idea of only looking at the failures disgusts me. Journey of a thousand miles starts with a single step.

Excuse me, how do you feel about security?

Excuse me, how do you view the US?

I thought the idea that Iraq was a noble cause was solely a right-wing talking point. I was not aware that Iraqis are registered Republicans?!

The Poll
The article referring to the poll from the right-wing media people over at ABC.

NYC Recruiting Ceneter

APTOPIX Times Square Blast

Historic New York City recruiting center bombed. I hold Berkeley responsible for this. Why, am I far reaching? No, the encouraged disrespect towards the military... So I do say they had a hand in this.
