I'm a traitor, so are the majority of troops.

C.I.R. Press Editorial
IMPEACH THE PRESIDENT AND THE VICE PRESIDENT, THEY ARE TRAITORS TO AMERICA, AND SO ARE ALL OF THEIR SUPPORTERS. IMPEACH! ANYONE IN CONGRESS WHO REFUSES TO SAVE OUR UNION FROM THESE TRAITORS BY DOING NOTHING NEEDS TO BE RECALLED. SAVE OUR TROOPS!!! SAVE OUR SCHOOLS AND HOSPITALS AND JOBS. FEED OUR HUNGRY AND POOR! SAVE THE DROWNING PEOPLE IN NEW ORLEANS! ANYONE WHO MENTIONS PARIS HILTON ONE MORE TIME MUST DIE! -Roseanne Barr
UNDISCLOSED -- Ahh, of course. I am a traitor to my country. From a lunatic I take that accusation as a badge of honor. Feed our hungry and poor? Maybe I missed it but I don’t remember Roseanne running around using all her money to do that. Save the drowning people in N.O.? Get a calendar! There are no people drowning in N.O. that we are to save right now. There are just as many people drowning there as there are anywhere else in the country that has water. Katrina was 2 years ago!

Why do I have a smile on my face? Because I am being told how to be a “good” American by someone who decided it would be funny to savage our NATIONAL ANTHEM at a baseball game. That was a hoot Roseanne. Those troops you "support," the majority support the President. So can you explain to me how you attack "traitors" while at the same time "support them"? One or the other! All I have left to say is SAVE THE NATIONAL ANTHEM, EXECUTE THOSE WHO HAVE ABUSED IT, AND (drum roll) PARIS HILTON! Bring it Roseanne.

Former President Bill Clinton on Friday cast doubt on the effectiveness of a planned U.S. missile shield, deriding it as a "colossal waste of money".

If that is so true why did you sign the National Missile Defense Act in 1999? To develop and deploy a system “as soon as technologically possible.” Those like Clinton seem to think that development happens and you just drive the pretty new machine out of the shop. No, we develop the best possible system and after deploying it we improve it. It is those with minds like his that would have prevented the US from landing on the moon. Last time I checked the Wright brothers had a few problems along the way, I suppose they should have given up.

What is wrong with the “we can't do it” Americans????? Where have all the “we are America and can do anything” Americans that made this country what it is today.

"He wanted the Russians to have it, he wanted everyone to have it," Clinton said. "Unless they work better than I think they do, it's a colossal waste of money."

With all due respect, they do you moron. I can’t stop people from believing the lefties rants that nothing works. Nothing ever works. Even things that they some up with, they complain don’t work. Nothing ever works in their eyes. But for a former President to complain about the needs and concerns of another country over the United States, his own country, is the EXACT reason why Clinton failed to fight terrorism. I would rather piss off other countries, fight terrorism, and have a MD system then try to concern myself with the feelings of the neo-Soviets.

Quick post, more to come later.

C.I.R. Press Editorial

UNDISCLOSED
– I apologize to the readers. I have been on a brief vacation and quickly thrust back in to the middle of a whole range of things. Therefore I do not have time to discuss much. I bring up two brief points and run back to work.

1) Republicans might have decided to grow a pair and publicly humiliate Pelosi by shutting down her shadow State Department before she starts causing problems. I talked about it back in April:
Regarding Pelosi...

2) The
newest poll that I get a huge kick out of. Only 14% confidence in Congress? LAUGHING OUT LOUD. Want to know how you can be sure your poll numbers are hitting rock f’ing bottom? When people approve of HMO’s more than they do you. But I will rest back in my chair and smile because 69% have a great deal of confidence in the military.

That is right you loonie lefties, the big bad ugly military. So 14% congress, 69% military. And Reid has the audacity to call the generals “incompetent.” From above:

The goal of C.I.R to discuss and prove: An effective military means striving and aiming for victory, anything else is unacceptable. What part do the liberals and press play in the United States Armed Forces overall mission?

BULLSHIT

C.I.R. Press Brief Editorial

What a load of god damn bullshit this woman is filled with. Enough time to travel half way around the world to meet with the President of a terrorist sponsoring country, but not enough to meet with General Petraeus? I guess staying in DC and meeting with someone from the military isn't a big enough photo op, right speaker? If you are going to lead, and be voting I think it is only fair that you actually listen to details on what you are voting on. How dare there be a meeting of such magnitude and she not attend! Liberals sure know how to steal tax dollars. I do give Senator Reid a brownie point, he is actually willing to attend a briefing and do his damn job.

"Gen. David Petraeus is scheduled to come to the Hill tomorrow to brief lawmakers on the progress of the recent troop escalation. ABC News has learned, however, that House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., will not attend the briefing."

Dumb question, smart answer.

Katie Couric, while interviewing a Marine sniper, asked:
"What do you feel when you shoot a Terrorist?"
The Marine shrugged and replied,
"A slight recoil."

(I apologize for not having longer posts, but as my recovery goes on I haven't been up to really sitting down for much writing. Things will be back to normal posting soon.)

Support...

"Send Support, we want to finish our job with our heads high."

"Oh, you jest. We only send our 'support' in words, good luck with all that."

Rep. throws in the towel.

C.I.R. Press Editorial

WASHINGTON, D.C.
-- Rep. Stephen Cohen (D-TN) spoke on the floor of the house this morning. In a boxing metaphor of sorts he compared the insurgent fighters in Iraq to Mohammed Ali, and the United States Military as a lesser boxer that should have never dared been in the same ring. Here are his words not mine:

“What a good trainer would do is throw in the towel, and say we quit.”

Does he represent the US or what the terrorists around the world want to hear? Nothing like “support” from your elected leaders that don’t just feel content saying you cannot win but actually take it to the point of comparing the US in to a weaker power that is just unable to have the strength to win! You may not sir, but the military of the United States will undertake any task given to it and does not run from something that is a “hard fight.” Can I please now assume that I won't get lectures from the left that they are not for "cut and run"?

"My good friend from..."

C.I.R. Press Editorial

UNDISCLOSED – I sat today watching the debate on the Senate floor on C-SPAN around 1600hrs. Senator McConnell and Senator Reid went after one another regarding this pathetic attempt by the democrats to shove legislation down the republican’s throats. I was amused by this constant "my good friend" from Reid, I guess that is the diplomats way of saying "go f- yourself." I was having a hard time keeping a straight face with the number of times Reid was saying over and over “we support the troops.” He just couldn’t stop. You know it reminded me of how it tends to be the guy that always brags about his manhood or has to buy an expensive sports car and make sure all know about it. It is usually because such a person is over-compensating. And that is what the left was doing on the floor today.

I finally decided to change the channel and wasn’t going to bother writing a piece about it, but then a moment before my finger hit the button… I heard “We support the troops, we support the troops, we support the troops, everyone knows that” like it was the chorus of a song. And it was none other than Senator Prick Durbin. At that very moment I was stuck between throwing a heavy object at the TV, or laughing. I chose the latter.

“…you would most certainly believe this must have been done by Nazis, Soviets in their gulags, or some mad regime — Pol Pot or others — that had no concern for human beings. Sadly, that is not the case. This was the action of Americans in the treatment of their prisoners.”

That is supporting the troops DICK? Support you arrogant jackass? You support the troops as much as I supported Senator Kerry for President. In other words I got on my knees and prayed for him to lose every single night! Oh I know no one on that side of the aisle “wants the troops to lose.” Durbin you prick. Did you not want the Soviets to lose? Did you not want the Nazis to lose? I should hope so, so if the troops are no different then YOU WANT THEM TO LOSE!

It was at this time I believe that Senator McCain came to the floor. I am not an avid fan of the Senator but he is a patriot of patriots regardless of what you make of his politics. He handed Reid his ass making the point that one is to contend you disagree with the policy but want to stand and say you still support the troops, how is that possible? Maybe the average American is in that category and I respect that, it is only every few Novembers that they have a real say. This is not true of sitting federal politicians. If ending the war and keeping the troops out of harms way is concern number one. Vote… a BINDING ONE! I urge all on the left and right to be a real man/woman and stop playing politics with the military. If you are not for doing what it takes to win (including the new surge) then go on record and vote to cut funds. Take a real stance not this non-binding garbage.

Why did I have to mention his name, no quicker I say it than the Yellow Heart Kerry plops his long depressing face on the floor. He took a nice jab at McCain and then went on to repeat the left’s talking points. However, he himself admitted that his conscience was not clear and that he had blood on his hands. I do agree with one thing he said: "The troops over there are tougher than anyone in this room." You are correct Senator.
